News from Masulita Uganda

May 2008

Brethren, greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It has been a long time since we last communicated. Many things have been going on in life and ministry. We believe that the Lord has new things for us everyday since He is still at work in us as Masuliita Worship Centre and in the entire world at large.

We would first of all like to thank you for everything that you are doing in the mission field that pertains to the kingdom of God. It is a pleasure to see that you submit and fulfill the will of the Father as we help one another to excel in this work.

Without you labor, wisdom, encouragement, prayers and finances, we don’t think we would have been able to reach this far but blessed be the name of the Lord who has provided you with all and enabled you to become channels through which one blesses others throughout the body of Christ.

I am using this time to share what God has enabled us to fulfill in the first quarter of the year. Many things have taken place and still many are unfolding as time goes on.

God has blessed Pr. Robert and his family. You all remember the times when messages were sent to you all asking for your prayers about Robinah before she gave birth to their last born and the complications that came after the birth. Well your prayers didn’t go unanswered. All the complications went away and Samuel David is doing fine and growing fast. To the left is a picture of their family as they are today. We believe God still has much to do through them and they are standing ready to do whatever He asks them to do.

As every other year, this year we also had the annual conference. It was very special this time because we had about 150 pastors attend. We had speakers from the USA and Uganda who did a great job teaching the word of God.

From Alaska (North Pole Worship Center) we had Brian and

his wife Pat come (below, right). They blessed us with the word of

God, shared their life experiences and we were glad to hear how the Lord has taught them through those hard times when their loved ones pass away. They did more than just speak because they took the Gospel down to the village by blessing the orphanage

down in the bush with new blankets and other things needed for their day-to-day living. It was so good seeing the gospel taken out from the pulpit ministry.

Pr. Joe Parker came with a team of men who sharpened our spirits with the word of God. They shared both in the Pastors side and the general conference since we organized special schedules for the pastors.

Here are some pictures of what took place in the conference week:

Below are some of the pictures for the pastors’ seminar:

We had a good time and so many lives of people were changed. There some who got saved and even today attend church with us at Masuliita, there are some who testify to this day to be living a changed life from that time and several of them were healed of various diseases.

Our children’s ministry is also moving ahead. We thank everyone who puts in their finances in the children feeding ministry whereby we see children in the village being fed once every month with a healthy meal. Below are the pictures of the Sunday school building and children being fed.

We are also planning to begin our village crusades this year. We will be traveling in the back country, parish by parish, setting up mini crusades so that we can combat darkness in the area with the gospel of Christ.

We have embarked on moving among the churches and have launched out teaching the basics of the Christian faith to the believers who live a considerable distance from Masuliita. Below is a picture of one of the churches we began with.

This year we used our guest house during the conference to house the guests from the USA. Though it is not yet completed, it served well. Below is the picture of the guest house. We still are believing God for its completion.

We thank all those who have been helping us with the ministry. May the Lord bless you very much. We again thank all of you for your prayers and financial support. May the Lord richly bless you indeed.

Pastor Robert
