News from
Masulita Uganda
September 2006
|
Dear friends, we take this opportunity to share
what has been happening in Masulita. It has been
quite busy as ministry seems to be moving on another
level. Several things have happened without much of
our effort. |
|
 |
Two
more churches have been planted, one in Nansana and
another in Busunju.
Pastor Godfrey and Sarah are in Nansana now. The
Pastor and his wife both have been part of Masulita
Worship Center for several years and they both
attended Bible College. The Lord led them to go to
Nansana and plant a church. Already about 30 people
are attending. Nansana is about nine miles from the
capital city Kampala.
Pastor Mwesigwa Emanuel went to Busunju town
and planted a church there. It is 40 miles from
Kampala Hoima road. We have not yet launched that church
officially and we will soon take our team and do a few days
of crusades and seminars. |

This month we received a miracle baby in
our ministry. Pastor George and Sarah had been
married seven years without a baby. They almost gave
up. But they were thankful to God and filled with
hope because of a prophecy that came saying that they
would have children. Three years later, the promise of God
was fulfilled when a baby boy was born to them this
last month. George pastors Nansomba Worship Center.
Last month we did two crusades with churches in Ndejje and
Kamuli villages and many people came to the Lord. During the day we
held seminars and
prayed for the sick and many were
delivered. These crusades were a joint effort
between Masulita Worship Center, New Heart Worship
Center and Sonrise Chapel, who sent us missionaries
to spend a few weeks helping us in this ministry. |
|
Thank God for New heart Worship Center as they
helped us acquire a new generator that we badly
needed. It will be a great help as we often go to
places that have no electrical power. In addition, the power to our
church is off most of the day.
They also helped us
acquire a five room house that will become a guest house
for visitors from other countries. We will remodel
it with western bathrooms and amenities. After a day
out visiting the villages, it will be nice for
visitors to return to this house where they will
have a comfortable bed and good food.
Our ministry to the destitute, called Mercy Moves,
went out in villages to bring help to the poor and
the sick. We visited several homes and gave out food
stuffs.

In
addition we took some people to the hospital and
paid
for their treatment. A person often may die from a
simple sickness because they cannot afford
$20 for treatment at a hospital. One family (see
photo below), a
grandma and two grand children were all sick.
Grandma’s eye had been swollen for over a month and she
did not have any medical attention because she was so
poor. The boy and the girl both had a skin disease
on their head. They are still undergoing treatment. |

A
Word from Pastor Robert
This month on August 10, 2006 we celebrated our
8th anniversary as Masulita Worship
Center. This event caused me to reflect on the past
in view of what we have achieved today

May the Lord richly bless you and the works of your
hands. God is moving among us in wonderful ways
and reaching many with the good news of hope and
salvation. |
